Inspectors often encounter a wider range of construction methods, renovations, additions, and aging infrastructure here than almost anywhere else in Connecticut. That diversity makes experience and attention to detail especially important.

During a home inspection, I pay close attention to issues commonly found in New Haven County homes, including aging foundations, moisture intrusion, settlement concerns, outdated electrical systems, older plumbing materials, and suspected asbestos-containing materials in homes built during the 20th century.
